Exciting new compost project in Inwood- Volunteers needed to make it happen…
With the help of the NYC Compost Project in Manhattan hosted at the Lower East Side Ecology Center, GrowNYC, the New York Restoration Project and a few local master composters the public compost drop- off program at Inwood Hill Park run by Ranger Kathryn Clifford will expand its hours and capacity for food waste. On Saturday and Sunday May 29th and 30th a larger 3-bin system will be constructed with the help of local volunteers (hint hint. Please contact Ranger Clifford or send us a note if you can help out).
